Painting is one of the greatest joys of my life. After a stressful day, I love to get my paints out, put on some music that I enjoy and get lost in the subject I am painting. It’s almost like the painting and I become one as I get submerged in the process, I become the crest on the waves or the flower dancing in the breeze or the path in the forest.

I am married with 2 adult children. Apart from being an artist I have been a musician from a very young age, and play the guitar, flute and violin.
I have been painting since school days and mostly dabbled in Watercolours. Most Sunday afternoons were spent at the dining table bent over a painting I would get lost in. On completing my Masters, I began my career as a lecturer in Sociology. Adult life began with all its demands and responsibilities.
I got married and the children came along. I did not paint for almost 25 years as other priorities absorbed most of my time. Now that the children have grown, I have more time on my hands. I have come back to a long lost love. Acrylics is a new discovery that I am beginning to enjoy.
I like the colours to speak of peace, tranquillity, joy, and hope. This is what I want my art to do as each of my paintings find a new home.

A picture paints a thousand words… I am so in love with my painting from Navaz Dcruz. My art piece entitled “HOPE” is a masterpiece. The colours and the textures promote a beautiful atmosphere in my living room. This painting is absolutely stunning. Friends and family are so amazed at the design and craftsmanship of this piece. I am in the process of remodelling and redecorating the living room space where this artwork will be placed above the fireplace. We are literally inspired to decorate the living room to accent the Colors in the painting. Her painting sets a powerful emotion of joy when I look at this beautiful piece. I enjoy sitting in my chair admiring every detail. For me, it’s art that comes to life!!!
